Abstract
In the present essay, which I joyfully and admiringly dedicate to Carla Cordua, I will attempt to establish that to this Calvinist fideism, even to a greater degree than to the enlightened assumptions of her philosophy, may most likely be attributed her immediate and total disavowal of the credibility of religious testimony about miracles.
