Abstract
This is one of the questions that have traditionally been considered the thorniest and most disputed and discussed in Hegelian practical philosophy. Repeatedly the reproach has been hurled that the philosophy of the objective spirit comes to be a negation of subjectivity and individuality, at least in the last instance, in the same way and for the same reason that the philosophy of the objective spirit (the Philosophy of Right) is ultimately a theory of the State.
