Neil Roberts is a Ph.D. Candidate in Political Science at the University of Chicago, and he is presently Visiting faculty in the Center for Africana Studies and Department of Political Science at Johns Hopkins University. A member of the Caribbean Philosophical Association Board of Directors, Roberts is the recipient of fellowships from the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation and the Social Science Research Council. Among his published and forthcoming works include articles and book chapters in Clamor magazine, The C.L.R. James Journal, Daily Observer (Jamaica), The Journal of Haitian Studies, Philosophia Africana, Sartre Studies International, and a critical reader on the thought of Sylvia Winter.
