Clevis R. Headley is currently an Associate Professor of philosophy and the Director of Ethnic Studies at Florida Atlantic University. He also serves as the Vice President of the Caribbean Philosophical Association. In addition to working in the areas of political philosophy and the philosophy of language, Professor Headley continues to work on various themes and issues within Africana philosophy and, more specifically, Afro-Caribbean thought.
